PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Uncover a driving chain.
2. On engines with the carburetor remove the fuel pump.
3. Remove a camshaft asterisk.
4. Using paint, apply combination tags on an asterisk of a bent shaft and an adjacent link of a driving chain.
5. On models with a single-row driving chain remove the lower uspokoitel of a chain.
6. Turn an asterisk of an intermediate shaft in such situation that through an opening in an asterisk the bolt of fastening of a clamp of an intermediate shaft was visible.
7. Unscrew a bolt and take a clamp of an intermediate shaft (see rice. Unscrewing of a bolt of fastening of a clamp of an intermediate shaft, Extraction of a clamp of an intermediate shaft).
8. Remove a driving chain from an asterisk of an intermediate shaft and take an intermediate shaft from the block of cylinders of the engine (see rice. Extraction of an intermediate shaft from the block of cylinders of the engine).

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check a condition of an intermediate shaft, especially the surfaces of the drive of the fuel pump and the distributor of ignition.
2. Check a condition of teeths on an asterisk of an intermediate shaft. Teeths on an asterisk have the symmetric form and in case of development of one party of teeths the intermediate shaft is subject to replacement.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install an intermediate shaft in the block of cylinders. Insert a clamp of an intermediate shaft and fix it by a bolt, having tightened it the required moment.
2. Dress a driving chain on an asterisk of an intermediate shaft.
3. Establish the lower uspokoitel of a chain.
4. Check that tags of an asterisk of a bent shaft and a driving chain are combined. Establish a camshaft asterisk.
5. On models with the carburetor install the fuel pump.
6. Establish a cover of a driving chain.
