1. Remove a pulley of a bent shaft / a quencher of tortional fluctuations and a nave.
2. Measure depth of installation of a forward sealing ring.
3. Drill two small openings located in the opposite ends of a sealing ring in a sealing ring. Screw in two self-cutting screws in the drilled openings of a sealing ring and, using flat-nose pliers, extend a sealing ring for screw heads.
4. It is alternatively possible to take a sealing ring, using a screw-driver edge as the lever, but at the same time be careful not to damage a nest of a sealing ring.
5. Check a condition of the expansion plug on the forward party of a bent shaft and, if necessary, replace it.
6. Clear a nest for a sealing ring.
7. Dip a new sealing ring into pure engine oil and, using a tubular mandrel of the corresponding diameter, establish a sealing ring in a nest on the required depth. Previously close an end face of the expansion plug an adhesive tape not to damage working edges of a sealing ring at installation.
8. Remove an adhesive tape from the end of the expansion plug.
9. Establish a pulley of a bent shaft / a quencher of tortional fluctuations and a nave.
