Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Tighten the parking brake, then lift a forward part of the car and record on supports.

2. Weaken a tension of an auxiliary driving belt and take off a driving belt from a pulley of the pump of the amplifier of steering, previously having weakened bolts of fastening of a pulley.

3. For improvement of access to the pump of the amplifier of steering remove an air inlet hose.

4. Having noted a pulley arrangement, unscrew bolts and remove a pulley from the pump of the amplifier of steering.

5. Wipe area about connections of the pump of the amplifier of steering and mark hydraulic tubes and hoses.

6. Unscrew connecting nuts and disconnect hoses from the pump. Traffic jams close the ends of hoses and an opening in the pump.

7. In the presence unscrew an arm from a back part of the pump.

8. Unscrew bolts of fastening and take the pump of the amplifier of steering from a motor compartment.

9. With malfunction of the pump it needs to be repaired at service station.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Install the pump of the amplifier of steering into place and fix it by bolts, having tightened them the required moment. In the presence screw an arm on a back part of the pump.

2. According to marking connect hoses to the pump and fix them by connecting nuts.

3. According to earlier made marking install a pulley on the pump of the amplifier of steering and fix it by bolts, having tightened them the required moment.

4. Establish an auxiliary driving belt on a pulley of the pump of the amplifier of steering and adjust its tension.

5. Fill the pump liquid and remove air from hydraulic system. On the Station wagon models with 6-cylinder petrol engines and diesel engines with a turbo-supercharging it is also necessary to remove air from system of the self-leveled back suspension bracket.
