Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. In a motor compartment disconnect an accelerator cable from the lever of a butterfly valve, previously having removed the square fastener (see the drawing). Take an accelerator cable through a groove in the lever.
2. Squeeze uvulas of a plastic clamp and remove an accelerator cable cover from an arm.
3. Working in interior of the car, disconnect a returnable spring and remove an accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal lever.
4. Unscrew an adjusting nut and take an accelerator cable cover through consolidation of a partition of a motor compartment.
Prevention

Do not remove a sealing ring from an internal partition of a motor compartment.
5. Take an accelerator cable through a partition in a motor compartment.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation of a cable of an accelerator is made in the sequence, the return to removal. If necessary check and adjust work of a cable of an accelerator.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check that draft and a cable of an accelerator move smoothly and without jammings. If necessary grease draft of an accelerator.
2. In a starting position of a pedal of an accelerator between a spring on the end of a cable of an accelerator and the plastic block of fastening in the directing lever of a butterfly valve there has to be a gap equal to 0,5 - 1,0 mm. Otherwise, rotating the adjusting handle, establish the required gap.
3. When replacing a cable of an accelerator usually it is not required to make adjustment of drafts of a butterfly valve. If it is required, adjustment of drafts of a butterfly valve needs to be made at service station as it is very difficult operation.
