11.5. Casing of the air filter

Removal

Air filter
A – nuts;
B – rubber fastening;
C – spring brackets;
D – sealing ring;
E – air stream measuring instrument

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the filtering element of the air filter. Unscrew bolts and remove the air stream measuring instrument from a back part of a casing of the air filter. Remove a sealing ring (see the drawing).
2. Unscrew the screw and pick up the air inlet phone connecting the air filter to an air chamber in a forward part of a motor compartment.
3. Unscrew the nuts fixing the lower part of a casing of the air filter.
4. Remove a casing of the air filter, taking its lower part from rubber fastenings.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal. Check correctness of installation of the sealing ring located between a casing of the air filter and the measuring instrument of a stream of air.
