Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. Open a cowl and establish it in vertical position.
3. In the presence remove an engine mudguard.
4. Remove the air filter.
5. Remove a radiator and a krylchatka of the fan.
6. Unscrew the bolt fixing an airintaking pipe to the panel of a body and, remove a pipe.
7. Take off an auxiliary driving belt.
8. Unscrew bolts and remove pulleys of an auxiliary driving belt.
9. Remove a pulley of a bent shaft / quencher of tortional fluctuations and a nave.
10. Unscrew bolts and remove a pipe of supply of the cooling liquid which is coming out from the forward party of a head of the block of cylinders from the water pump. Remove a sealing ring of round section from a pipe and move a pipe aside.
11. Unscrew a nut and take a bolt of fastening of the forward eye for raising of the engine located on the forward party of a head of the block of cylinders (see rice. An arrangement of a pipe of supply of cooling liquid and a bolt of fastening of an eye for raising of the engine).
12. On models with the self-leveled back suspension bracket weaken a collar and remove a hose from a pipe on the left forward side of a head of the block of cylinders. Close a hose and a pipe the corresponding traffic jams.
13. Remove the top cover of a driving chain.
14. Weaken the central bolt of fastening of an arm of the pump of the amplifier of steering, then unscrew three bolts of fastening of an arm (see rice. Elements of fastening of an arm of the pump of the amplifier of steering).
15. Turn an arm, releasing the lower cover of a driving chain.
16. Unscrew two bolts of fastening of the pump of the amplifier of steering to an arm and move the pump aside.
17. Unscrew bolts and remove a radiator fan pulley arm from a cover of a driving chain (see rice. Arrangement of bolts of fastening of an arm of a pulley of the fan of a radiator).
18. Unscrew a nut and remove the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft located on the forward party of a cover of a driving chain from an arm. Take wires of the sensor and brackets of fastening and move the sensor aside.
19. Disconnect electric wires from the generator.
20. Unscrew four bolts of fastening of an arm of the generator to the engine and remove the generator together with an arm.
21. Remove the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain.
22. Working under the car, unscrew the bolts fixing the oil pallet to the lower cover of a driving chain (see rice. An arrangement of bolts of fastening of the oil pallet to the lower cover of a driving chain). Note the provision of bolts as they have various sizes. On models with system of the self-leveled back suspension bracket move a system hose aside.
23. Unscrew the remained bolts of fastening of the lower cover of a driving chain. At the same time note their arrangement as bolts have various sizes (see rice. Arrangement of other bolts of fastening of the lower cover of a driving chain).
24. Being careful, remove the lower cover of a driving chain from the directing pins.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear the interfaced surfaces of the block of cylinders and the lower and top covers of a driving chain.
2. Check a condition of laying of the oil pallet and at its damage replace laying of the oil pallet.
3. If necessary replace the forward sealing ring of a bent shaft established in the lower cover of a driving chain.
4. Using a screw-driver edge, take an old sealing ring from a cover of a driving chain.
5. Clear a nest for a sealing ring.
6. Using a tubular mandrel, establish a new sealing ring in a cover of a driving chain.
7. For protection of working edges of a sealing ring of a bent shaft at installation of a cover of a driving chain wrap up an adhesive tape the forward end of a bent shaft.
8. Replace laying in a cover of a driving chain in an opening for the lower bolt of fastening of an arm of the fan of a radiator.
9. Apply a thin film of sealant on the interfaced surfaces of the block of cylinders and the lower cover of a driving chain.
10. Grease working edges of a sealing ring of a bent shaft with pure engine oil and, being careful, install the lower cover of a driving chain on the block of cylinders.
11. Establish the bolts of fastening of a cover of a driving chain shown in the drawing Arrangement of Other Bolts of Fastening of the Lower Cover of a Driving Chain and tighten them the required moment.
12. Remove an adhesive tape from a forward end face of a bent shaft.
13. Screw in bolts of fastening of the oil pallet to the lower cover of a driving chain and tighten them the required moment.
14. Install the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain.
15. Install the generator with an arm on the engine and screw bolts, having tightened them the required moment. Connect electric wires to the generator.
16. Install the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft and fix it by a nut.
Prevention

At installation of a new lower cover of a driving chain it is necessary to check and, if necessary, to adjust position of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft.

17. Establish an arm of the fan of a radiator and fix by bolts, having tightened them the required moment.
18. Install into place the pump of the amplifier of steering and fix by bolts.
19. Apply a thin film of sealant on both parties of the bolt of a cover of a driving chain located on an arm of fastening of the amplifier of steering.
20. Turn an arm of the pump of the amplifier of steering and fix by bolts then tighten the central bolt of fastening.
21. Establish the top cover of a driving chain.
22. In the presence connect a hose of system of the self-leveled back suspension bracket to a pipe on the forward party of a head of the block of cylinders.
23. Establish the bolt and a nut fixing a forward eye for raising of the engine.
24. Establish a new sealing ring of round section on a pipe of supply of cooling liquid, install a pipe on the pump and fix by bolts.
25. Establish a pulley of a bent shaft / a quencher of tortional fluctuations and a nave.
26. Establish pulleys of an auxiliary driving belt and an auxiliary driving belt.
27. Establish a pipe of an air inlet and fix it by a bolt.
28. Establish a krylchatka of the fan and a radiator.
29. Install the air filter.
30. Establish the lower mudguard of the engine.
31. Add cooling liquid in the cooling system.
32. Check the level of engine oil and, if necessary, bring it to norm.
33. Connect a weight wire to the accumulator.
